Return & Refund Policy
Please read this carefully before completing your registration payment.
Run In-Sync registration fees are generally non-refundable once a confirmed registration has been successfully processed, except where this Policy or applicable law provides otherwise. Any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
1. Registration Fees
Registration fees are charges for participation in the Event and may cover event operations including bib kits, timing chips, T-shirts, medals, route management, medical support and permits, to the extent such items are actually included for the relevant category. The applicable registration fee and any taxes or other charges will be shown before payment. Fees are collected through Razorpay or another payment method expressly displayed at checkout.
2. No-Refund Baseline
Once a registration is confirmed, no refund will ordinarily be provided for non-participation or participant-initiated reasons, including:
inability to attend due to personal, medical, travel or work reasons;
change of mind after registration;
failure to attend or failure to collect a bib/kit within the stated collection window;
registration for the wrong category or race distance, except where an upgrade/downgrade facility is expressly announced;
adverse weather conditions that do not result in Event cancellation;
disqualification or removal for violation of the Terms, race rules or Code of Conduct.
Any other reason that ABBF’s management deems, at its sole discretion, not acceptable grounds for a refund.
3. Entry Rejection / Eligibility Failure
If ABBF rejects an application before confirmation because the applicant does not meet a stated eligibility requirement, the Event category is unavailable, required documents are not accepted, or the entry cannot be confirmed for a reason attributable to ABBF or event capacity, ABBF will refund the eligible registration amount, subject to any clearly disclosed processing amount permitted by applicable law and the payment-provider process. No refund is due where the participant supplied false, misleading or fraudulent information, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Transfer & Deferral
Transfer of a registration to another person, or deferral to a future edition, is not permitted by default. If ABBF opens a transfer, deferral or surrender window for a particular edition, the applicable deadline, eligibility conditions, processing charge (if any), and refund/credit method will be separately announced on the Platform before the option is used.
5. Event Cancellation or Postponement by ABBF
If ABBF cancels the Event entirely, ABBF will publish the applicable participant remedy at or promptly after the cancellation. Subject to applicable law, the remedy will be one of the following: (a) a refund of the registration
amount paid; or (b) a carry-forward/credit or deferral to a future edition. Any refund or credit terms will be stated clearly, including applicable deadlines and exclusions.
If ABBF postpones the Event to a later date, the registration may be carried forward to the new date. ABBF will communicate the revised date and any applicable participant election window. Nothing in this clause limits any refund or other statutory right that may apply.
6. Failed, Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
This no-refund policy does not apply to genuine payment processing errors, such as:
Amount debited from your account/card but registration not confirmed on the Platform
Duplicate payment for the same registration
In such cases, write to info@runinsync.in with your transaction/reference ID or UTR number and reasonable evidence of the transaction. Where a refund is due, ABBF will initiate it through the payment provider to the original payment method, subject to payment-system, bank and payment-network timelines. Any stated processing period begins only after ABBF verifies that the duplicate or erroneous charge occurred.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
You should contact ABBF promptly for any payment concern so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, process a refund. You remain entitled to use the dispute or chargeback mechanisms available from your bank, card issuer or payment provider. If a chargeback is initiated, ABBF may provide transaction and registration records to the relevant payment provider or financial institution and may suspend or cancel the affected registration if the payment is reversed, subject to applicable law. ABBF will not impose a fee merely for exercising a legitimate statutory or payment-network right.
8. Returns / Exchanges / Delivery of Physical Items
The primary product purchased through the Platform is Event registration, not a physical good. No general "return" or merchandise exchange right is created by this Policy for event entry. If any T-shirt, merchandise or other physical item is sold separately or offered for delivery, its applicable size-change, return, exchange and delivery terms will be disclosed at or before purchase.
9. Payment Queries
Email info@runinsync.in with your registration name, phone number used at registration, and Razorpay transaction ID.
We aim to acknowledge payment queries within 3 business days. Where a matter requires action by a bank, payment provider or other third party, the resolution timeline may depend on that third party.
10. Consumer Rights and Statutory Remedies
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or requires you to waive a consumer or statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
